Tipper trailer stolen in Heads Nook farm burglary

Police are investigating a burglary which took place sometime between 12pm on Friday 13th September – 12pm on Tuesday 17th September, at a farm in Newbiggin, Heads Nook.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Entry had been forced to a storage container and numerous items were stolen from within.

“An ‘Ifor Williams’ 10ft x 6 ft. tipper trailer, serial number: 611958 was also stolen.”

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or anyone who may know the whereabouts of the trailer or have been offered it for sale, to contact PC 2542     on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 80 of 17th September.
