Road closed between Harker Road End and Rockcliffe after serious collision

Emergency services are dealing with a serious road traffic collision which occurred on the road between Harker Road End and Rockcliffe.

Police were called today (September 22) at approximately 5.10pm following a one vehicle collision near to the railway bridge.

There were four occupants in the vehicle at the time of the collision. The severity of any injuries are unconfirmed at this time.

The road has been closed for collision investigation inquiries.

Officers would like to speak to any witnesses to the collision. In particular, they would like to speak to the occupants of a vehicle that stopped nearby, shortly after the collision, for their details on what they may have witnessed.

Investigating officers are also keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident.

Those with information are asked to contact police on 101 and ask to speak to Sgt 2240 Radzan, quoting incident number 175 of September 22.
