Tools seized in investigation into Kendal burglaries

Detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying tools that have been seized as part of an investigation into a series of burglaries in south Cumbria.

Officers seized a variety of tools from an address in Kendal on Friday (September 20).

Many of the tools that have been recovered have identifying marks and serial numbers.

If you believe that your tools may be connected to this investigation, please contact DC Chris Appleyard by calling 101 and entering the extension number 41398.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Before calling, please make a note of any information that could assist officers identify the correct owner.

“This includes the date your tools were stolen and details including serial numbers, identifying marks or distinguishing features.

“A 45-year-old man, from Kendal, has been arrested in connection with this investigation. He is released under investigation.”
