A66 reopen after crash at Appleby

The A66 has reopened after a three-vehicle road traffic collision occurred near Appleby.

Police were called today (September 26) at 8.11am following a collision on the westbound carriageway just past the Appleby bypass.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “We can confirm the road has now fully reopen.”

“Injuries at this time are believed to be minor.”
