Biker seriously injured in Barrow crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle road traffic collision at the junction of Abbots Vale and Bridgegate Avenue, Barrow at 7.11am on the 1st October.

The collision involved a motorcycle, ridden by a man, 38, of Barrow, and a Ford Focus, driven by a woman, 27, of Barrow.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The motorcyclist was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with serious injuries.

“The driver of the Ford Focus was not seriously hurt.”
