Local Organisation, AWAZ Cumbria, an organisation that empowers the voices of Black & Minority Ethnic people, will hold an antiques valuation event with BBC Antiques expert Paul Laidlaw, at Denton Holme Community Centre, Morley St, Carlise CA2 5HQ, on Thursday 17th October 2019.
Paul and his colleague, Georgina, will value items such as jewellery, silver, watches, glass, toys and fine art.
Valuations will take place between Noon and 2pm but doors will be open for members of the public who have booked a place at the event, from 11am when they will be able learn more about AWAZ Cumbria’s work in the community.
Cathy Stubbs of AWAZ Cumbria, said: “This is a chance for the public to learn more about the work we do, and have some fun at the same time. Whilst we hold many social events throughout the year, this is the first time AWAZ has held an event of this nature.
Paul is a very popular antiques expert and we are grateful to him for taking the time to help us hold the event.”
