Police are appealing for witnesses as part of a robbery and assault investigation where four Carlisle residents have been arrested.
The incident occurred on the 9th October 2019 at around 8:30pm, in the Charlotte Street area, Carlisle.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 17-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of attempt GBH and robbery.
“A 41-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, police assault and possession of a controlled substance.
“A 25-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of attempt GBH and robbery.
“A 42-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of attempt GBH and robbery.
“All those arrested have been released under investigation.”
A 36-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, also both from Carlisle, suffered injuries including lacerations. They have since been released from Carlisle Infirmary.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information regarding the incident. Police would also like to speak to anyone in the Lidl or Dunelm car park area, between 8-9pm who may have seen something, or vehicles with any dashcam footage from Charlotte Street between 8:30pm and 9:00pm.
