Man seriously injured in Botchergate attack

Police are investigating an incident of serious assault, which occurred at approximately 12:45am on Sunday 6th October 2019 in the Bomb Shelter, Botchergate, Carlisle.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for any persons who may have witnessed the incident or have information relevant to the case.

“The suspect is believed to be a male.

“A 24-years-old from Carlisle, and went to the Cumberland Infirmary suffering a fractured cheek bone and nerve damage.”
