Man suffers fractured cheek bone in Carlisle attack

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault is reported to have taken place between midnight and 2:30am on Sunday the 6th of October at the Court Square Taxi Rank, Carlisle.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 36-year-old man from Carlisle sustained a fractured cheek bone. At the time the man was wearing dark blue jeans, green three quarter zip jumper and black trainers.

“Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances and police are appealing for anyone who was in the area around this time who may have seen or heard anything.”
