Bridge damaged in Sedbergh collision

Police are investigating a one vehicle road traffic collision at Millthrop Bridge, Sedbergh on the 14th October at approximately 2:30pm.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “An HGV has collided with the bridge causing significant damage whilst being assisted in reversing and struck the bridge causing it to collapse.”
