Police appeal after Wigton burglary

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a property on Wampool Place, Wigton at around 11:00am on Wednesday 16th October.

A group of males have stolen a bicycle and a PS4 games console from inside before leaving the scene.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The stolen bicycle is an “Iron Horse” brand and is described as black and luminous green with green pedals, green grips, and a mudguard on the front wheel.

“Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident who may be able to assist in identifying the suspects or recovering the stolen property.”
