Elderly woman knocked unconscious after being hit by cyclist in Barrow hit-and-run

Police are investigating a fail-to-stop collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian, which happened outside WHSmiths on Portland Walk, Barrow, at around 11.20am on Friday 25 October.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “An elderly woman fell to the ground and was knocked unconscious when a male cyclist collided with her.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information to contact PC 2561 on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 81 of 25 October.
