Carlisle Lake District Airport hosted of a Halloween family fun-day to raise money for children’s charity Jigsaw on October 31. The late afternoon event, hosted in the airport’s Ivor Broadis Lounge, included ghostly party games and spooky treats.
The airport also put on a fancy-dress and pumpkin carving competition.
A spokesperson from Jigsaw said: “We are thrilled that Carlisle Lake District Airport is hosting this spectacularly spooky event in aid of Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice. Some of our families will actually be attending the event and we are so excited for that is in store! The money raised at the event will go directly to care for young people in our community. Thank you!”
