A Carlisle man has appeared at North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court to face two-allegations, that on April 27, he was involved in a road traffic collision on the A69 road at Warwick-on-Eden while he was driving a Mercedes E220 car, court papers show a pedestrian was injured.
Dr Samin Ahmed Khan, 73, gave his address as The Birches Road, Scalby Hill, Carlisle, no pleas were entered to the allegation of failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident, the alleged incident took place around 7.30pm.
District Judge Gerald Chalk adjourned the hearing until December 19, Dr Khan will then return to the magistrates court in Carlisle.
