Police probe Workington burglaries

Police are investigating an attempted burglary which has occurred at a business on Clay Flatts Industrial Estate, Workington between Friday 8th November and Monday 11th November.

During the above dates, unknown persons have entered the business compound and have damaged the entrance to a container to enable access. The damage caused to the container is of value at approximately £50.

Anyone with any information should call PC 2635 Jefferson on 101, email [email protected],  or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 99 of the 11th November.


Police are also investigating a burglary which occurred at Stobbarts on Lake Road, Workington between 6pm on the 8th November and 9am on the 9th .

Unknown persons have forced entry to the premises and taken a number of items.
