Pedestrian hurt in Cockermouth collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision to come forward.

The collision occurred at around 5.25pm on Saturday (9 Nov) when a silver Citroen Picasso driven by a 71-year-old woman collided with a 61-year-old pedestrian on Mountain View, Cockermouth.

The pedestrian was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary with injuries to their ribs and collar bone but has since been discharged.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision or has any information which could assist to contact police referencing incident 148 of 9 November 2019.
