Two men charged following Carlisle Assault

Police have charged two men with grievous bodily harm following an incident on Spencer Street, Carlisle on Sunday 17th November.

Leon Hull, 29 of Springkell, Aspatria and David Foster, 31 of Abbey Street, Carlisle, appeared at Carlisle magistrate’s court this morning.

A 17-year-old male from Carlisle, has been released on bail.

The injured man, from Carlisle, remains in hospital in a stable condition. He sustained numerous injuries including a broken jaw and burns to his face and head.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have any information about the assault to come forward.

They should contact DC 2212 Charlotte Jones on 101, referring to incident 166 of November 17.

Leon Hull and David Foster were remanded until the 19th December.
