Police appeal after Oxenholme Filling Station robbery

Officers in south Cumbria are investigating a robbery that occurred at around 10:30pm yesterday (Nov 22) at Oxenholme Filling Station on Burton Road, Oxenholme.

A man entered the shop at the filling station,  and stole a number of items from within, staff were present during this incident and were threatened by the man. The man has then left the shop on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as wearing a grey hoody and dark trousers.

No arrest have yet been made and enquiries are ongoing into the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or anyone with information to contact police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 242 of the 22nd November.
