Large quantity of high-value clothing stolen in House of Fraser burglary

Police are investigating a burglary carried out at the House of Fraser store in Carlisle city centre in the early hours of today (Dec 10).

The burglars broke into the shop, on English Street, before taking a large quantity of high-value CP Company clothing.

Officers were alerted to the burglary at 1.05am.

Detective Constable Michael Gilsenan said: “We are appealing for anyone who has any information about this burglary to contact us.

“In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who has been offered CP Company clothing for sale.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who was in the city centre or around the store at this time and who saw anything suspicious.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101, referring to incident 12 of December 10.
