Man attacked and robbed in Ulverston

Police are investigating a robbery and assault which happened between 10-10.30pm last night (11 December) at the community centre on Lund Terrace, Ulverston.

A man was approached by a group of 6-8 other men before being assaulted. The suspects were reportedly sat in both a blue car and a silver car on Lund terrace, immediately before the robbery occurred.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “One of the suspects is described as being a white man, around 19-21 years old, of slim build, 5ft11 with blonde permed hair.

“Another of the suspects is described as a black man, 5ft10, of slim build, wearing dark clothing.

“All of the suspects are described as wearing coverings over their lower face.”

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 256 of the 11th December. Police are asking that the public do not approach the suspects if spotted.
