Body of woman found at Pooley Bridge formally identified

The body of a woman found at Pooley Bridge yesterday afternoon (12 December) has been formally identified as Diane Rumney, 53, of Icold road, Greystoke.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances at this stage.

“A file will be prepared for the coroner.

“Police would like to thank the public for sharing the social media appeal to help find Diane.”
