More than £7,400 was raised for local good causes at the 2019 Carlisle Fireshow (Saturday, 2 November 2019).
A large crowd attended the biggest and best Fireshow in the North and made sure it was a sparkling success. The event was the 32nd Fireshow staged by Carlisle City Council and this year celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing
The £7,437.64 collected on the night will benefit the Rotary Club of Carlisle (South) and the Mayor’s Charity Fund whose main beneficiaries this year are: CFM’s Cash for Kids, Guide Dogs UK and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice
The presentation of the cheque to the Rotary Club of Carlisle South, in the sum of £3,718.82 took place at the Civic Centre on Tuesday 17 December 2019.
In excess of 35,000 people attended the City Council event, organised in conjunction with Merlin Fireworks Ltd.
