Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident that occurred at around 1am today (Jan 13) in the area of Aynam Road, Kendal.
Detective Constable Chris Neild said: “Officers on patrol in the area located a boy in his early teens at the time on the floor having believed to have been involved in a road traffic collision, a vehicle described as a Grey Vauxhall Grandland left the scene when officers approached.
“The vehicle failed to stop and headed in the direction of Barrow. The pursuit was stopped following concerns for other road users.
“Officers later stopped a taxi with the occupants of the Vauxhall.
“An 18 and 20-year-old man from Lancashire and a 29-year-old man from Millom were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery, driving a motor vehicle dangerously, falling to stop and driving whilst unfit thought drugs. They remain in police custody.
“The boy was uninjured.”
