Girl hurt in Carlisle dog attack

Police are investigating an incident involving a child and a dog which resulted in the child, an 11-year-old girl – receiving an injury to her forehead.

The incident occurred on the 18th January 2020 at around 3.30pm in the park area behind Lund Crescent, Carlisle.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police would like to speak and trace to a man of unknown age described as being white, around 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.

“He was accompanied at the time by a German Shepherd-style dog black and light tan in colour wearing a blue collar with bones imprinted on it.”
