Two arrested after Penrith drugs raid

Police officers from Eden Pro-Active team, and the Tactical Support Unit, this morning (Jan 24) conducted a drugs warrant on Friars Road, Penrith.

A quantity of controlled drugs (tablets) were seized from the property.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 50-year-old man, and a 41-year old woman were both arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug, with intent to supply, and remain in police custody.”
