Police appeal after car damaged in Whitehaven

Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage to a vehicle that occurred at around 2am on Wednesday 22nd January.

A White Seat Leon was damaged whilst parked unattended on Bowness Road, Whitehaven.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The vehicle had the front and rear windscreen smashed, along with the offside passenger window and the bonnet was scratched.

“It is reported that a man was seen in the area in a burgundy vehicle.”
