Charity box stolen from Carlisle Cathedral

Police are investigating a burglary which occurred on the 27th of January at 7am at Carlisle Cathedral.

A charity box was taken from the cathedral containing approximately £100.

A man was seen in the area at the time described at 6ft 2ins, wearing a white hoody, dark pants and shoes and was last seen on Scotch Street heading towards the train station.

Officers are looking for witnesses with any information to get in touch to assist in locating the man.
