Man hurt in Barrow assault

Police are investigating an assault that took place on the 11th of February 2020 between the hours of 22:35 and 22:45 outside The Kings Arms public house, Dalton road, Barrow.

The victim – a man aged 50 – sustained bruising and swelling to the face and was also unconscious for a few minutes.

The offender is described as a white man, bald and dressed in dark clothing. He is believed to be aged between 40 and 50.

Police are requesting any witnesses and anyone who may be able to identify the suspect to contact PC 2814 Watson on 101 quoting log 246 of 11 February 2020 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
