Officers in north Cumbria have arrested two men following an attempted theft from parked lorries at Southwaite services on the 20th February.
The sides of parked lorries have been slashed in attempt to steal goods from within.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 25-year-old man from West Yorkshire was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to steal, attempt theft and criminal damage and remains in police custody.
“A 29-year-old man from West Yorkshire was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to steal, attempt theft and criminal damage and remains in police custody.”
