Police are investigating a hate crime in which a group of teenagers hurled racist abuse at three people in a Carlisle park.
The victims were in St James’ Park in Denton Holme, when about five teenagers verbally abused them. The victims’ basketball was also stolen.
It happened at about 5pm on Sunday, March 1.
Police are keen to speak to the people subjected to the abuse and to anyone else who may have information about the incident. Call officers on 101.
