Appeal after dangerous driving incident on A590

Police are appealing for witnesses to reports of two cars dangerously overtaking other vehicles on the A590 in south Cumbria.

It occurred at about 4.10pm on Wednesday (March 11), from near the Kimberly-Clark site to the Askam roundabout.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The two cars are described as a dark, older-style Ford Focus and a metallic Volkswagen Golf type R.”

Anyone with information should call 101, referring to incident 156 of March 11 – or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
