Thursby Parish Council COVID-19 Support Group is launching a helpline for residents in Thursby and the surrounding area.
From Saturday, anyone can get in touch if they need help with for example collecting your shopping, prescriptions, dog walking, posting mail etc and signposting you to other organisations that can provide welfare assistance, should it be needed.
The helpline is manned entirely by volunteers from Thursby Parish Council and local Thursby people who want to help their community to get through the COVID-19 outbreak.
The intention is to support vulnerable people and those in isolation. Volunteers can offer advice or assistance to anyone who needs it.
Anybody in the area who needs help should call 07918 482 344 between 9am – 5pm or email [email protected]
