Police would like to speak to a cyclist who was involved in a collision in Appleby on Saturday 4th April at about 4pm.
The collision occurred at the Colby junction leading on to Scattergate and involved a cyclist and a young child who was walking with her family.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The cyclist is reported to have stopped, but was asked to carry on by the child’s parents.
“Officers would like to speak to the cyclist who is described as being a man in his 40’s of slim build and wearing lycra clothing.
“Two other cyclists are reported to have been with the man at the time. Officers would also like to speak to any other witnesses to the incident.”
