Police investigating the death of a man in Carlisle are appealing for anyone with any information or footage that could help the inquiry to contact officers.
Two men arrested following the death of the man, 37, at an address in Brantwood Avenue on Sunday remain in custody today.
Detective Chief Inspector Jenny Beattie is the senior investigating officer in the case.
She said: “A team of officers has been working on this investigation around-the-clock and two men are in custody.
“We are appealing for anybody who has any information about this incident to contact us.
“In particular, we are interested in any kind of footage that might be relevant, whether that is mobile phone footage, dashcam footage, doorbell camera footage, to pass that on to us.
“Did you witness anything that morning that might help our investigation? If so, please contact us.”
Police were called by the North West Ambulance Service to Brantwood Avenue at 10.49am on Sunday following a report that two men had suffered stab wounds.
One of the men was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The other man was taken to the city’s Cumberland Infirmary. He underwent treatment and was later discharged.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of murder.
