A Carlisle based charity are encouraging the local community to put their general knowledge skills to the test in their first Virtual Friday Night Quiz.
On Friday 17 April Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice will stream the quiz live, via Facebook, into homes across the county. The family friendly quiz is a great opportunity to come together as a family or friends, via video calls if you live in different households, have some fun, test their knowledge and support the hospice.
Sam Johnston, Events Lead at Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, explained “Everybody loves a good quiz and to test their general knowledge. With pubs being closed and people having watched everything on TV, we thought what better way to bring some entertainment into peoples’ evening than with a fun quiz.
“Entry to the quiz is free, but we are encouraging people to make a donation to take part. Every donation will help Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw to continue to provide care and support to local people during these challenging times. Our care teams are still here at the hospice supporting local families during the hard times and we will continue to do this into the future, but the support of the local community is vital.”
The Virtual Friday Night Quiz will be made up of three rounds of ten questions suitable for all ages and knowledge skills. The full quiz will be streamed live from 8pm via the Eden Valley Hospice Facebook page.
