Three fire engines from barrow and Walney stations have attended a fire on Dunoon Street in Barrow-in-Furness, involving the kitchen area of a domestic property.
Fire crews were called at 6:59pm on Wednesday 13 May.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used one hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
“Crews were on scene for forty minutes.”
