Reward offered by charity for wanted Carlisle man

The charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Paul Gillan. The 37-year-old man is from the Carlisle area of north Cumbria.

Cumbria Police are seeking to arrest Paul in connection with a number of domestic violence assaults and for stalking.

He is also wanted for an outstanding recall to prison for breaching his release conditions where he was serving a sentence for a previous serious assault.

Gary Murray, North West Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “We are appealing to anybody with any information on the whereabouts of Paul Gillan to do the right thing and to tell our charity what you know, 100% anonymously.”

“It’s extremely important that he is arrested and returned to prison and that is why we are offering this reward and putting Mr Gillan on our Most Wanted website.”
