AN Eden man has been interviewed amid a police probe into alleged online sex crimes.

A Cumbria police spokesman confirmed this morning (FRI) that the force had received a report yesterday afternoon at around 3-30pm. This related to alleged online sexual offences.

The spokesman made it clear that the man had not been arrested.

“A 39-year-old man from the Greystoke area was contacted and voluntarily attended a police station for interview,” said the spokesman.

“He has been released whilst officers continue with their investigation.”
