Two fire engines have attended a persons reported fire on Manchester Street, Barrow-in-Furness.
Fire crews were called at 12:08am today, Tuesday 2 June.
The fire involved the oven in the kitchen of a domestic property.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Fire fighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
“One casualty evacuated prior to fire service arrival and was assessed by North West Ambulance Service.
“Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.”
