Anthony Moorhead

The charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Anthony Moorhead. The 28-year-old man is from the Carlisle area.

Cumbria Police are seeking to arrest Anthony in connection with a number of serious offences including arson with intent to endanger life, robbery, burglary and theft of a vehicle.

Gary Murray, North West Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “We are appealing to anybody with any information on the whereabouts of Anthony Moorhead to do the right thing and to tell our charity what you know, 100% anonymously.”

“It’s extremely important that he is arrested and the public should not approach him, but contact the police on 999 straight away or contact Crimestoppers anonymously. This is why we are offering this reward and putting Mr Moorhead on our Most Wanted website.”

“Since our charity was formed over 32 years ago, we have always kept our promise of anonymity to the millions of people who have trusted us. Every day over a thousand people contact us online and on the phone.”

“You can speak to us anonymously by calling our UK Contact Centre which is open 24/7 on freephone 0800 555 111 or you can use our simple and secure anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Nobody will know you contacted us, only you.”
