Detectives make further arrests following death of Carlisle man

Detectives investigating the death of 26-year-old Carlisle man Lee McKnight have made a further two arrests as part of their ongoing investigation.

Officers this morning (Aug 5) executed an arrest warrant at two addresses in the areas of Blackwell Road and Howe Street, Carlisle.

A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy both from Carlisle have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
