Cumbrian based Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ training provider Gen2, has welcomed their new General Manager, Amanda Towers, following the retirement of Paul Storey.
Amanda will head up the organisation and joins Gen 2 from a busy 20 year career with Cumbria County Council, more latterly as Senior Manager for Learning and Skills. Having started her career at Sellafield, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
Amanda said: “I am delighted to be appointed as Gen2’s new General Manager and excited to take this next step in my career.
“Joining the City & Guilds Group, as General Manager for Gen2 provides a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference through skills for people, employers and the community.
