Man arrested after bar staff attacked in Barrow

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to assaults on three people in Barrow.

Three bar staff from the Furness Railway pub on Abbey Road were assaulted outside the bar at about 11.50pm on Sunday, August 30.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “There were no serious injuries.

“A man was arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.”
