Play equipment damaged in Wigton school burglary

POLICE are investigating a burglary and criminal damage St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School, Wigton.

The incident occurred overnight on the 4th and 5th September.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Damage has been caused to the gates, play equipment and a padlock has been broken.

“Several tricycles were taken and were later recovered, they received minor damage.”
