Today (15/09/2020), Cumbria Police have been made aware by BT Group, that there is a fault effecting some members of the public’s landlines.
Affected members of the public may experience no dial tone and be unable to make outgoing calls, including dialling 999 from their landlines.
There is no reported impacted on mobile phone services; including the EE Network and no report of any impact to internet-based services.
The incident was detected by BT Group on 15-09-2020 at 11:20.
The report from BT Group, lists Barrow as the only affected area in Cumbria.
It is estimated that service will be restored by 16:15 today.
