Police are investigation a serious assault which occurred around 8:45pm on Monday 14th September in the area of the Citadel Carlisle.
Three men aged between 18-19 years old were assaulted by large group of males.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “One of the victims sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital. The other two victims sustained bruising.
“A 15-year-old boy from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm without intent and two counts of common assault and has since been released on bail.
“A 18-year-old man from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm without intent and two counts of common assault and has since been released on bail.
“Police are appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam footage. Police would also like to urge anybody that has any information in relation to this assault to come forward.”
