Firefighters tackle Barrow house fire

Three fire engines have attended a fire in a domestic property on Park Avenue in Barrow-in-Furness.

Fire crews were called at 12:56pm yesterday, Thursday 17 September.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.”
