Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in the Hensingham area of Whitehaven on 18 September, between 2am and 3am.
Offenders removed two compactor plates.
A vehicle was heard driving off from the scene.
Entry has also been gained to the property on three other occasions, over the last four months and various other tools have been stolen.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who witnessed any suspicious activity.
“Officers would like to encourage local residents to be vigilant, to report any suspicious activity to the police and to ensure they maintain security on their homes and outbuildings.”
