Firefighters tackle Corby Hill kitchen blaze

Two fire engines were called to reports of a fire involving a domestic house on Hurley Road, Corby Hill.

Fire crews were called at 10:05am on Saturday 26 September.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival the fire service extinguished a fire involving a kitchen.

“One hose reel was used.”

“The fire service were in attendance for approximately one hour and five minutes.”
