Quadbike stolen in Scales burglary

Police are investigating an incident of burglary that occurred at a farm situated between Scales and Baycliff overnight from Saturday 26 September to Sunday 27 September.

Unknown suspects have taken a quadbike, a welder and a chainsaw from the premises.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for any witnesses or sightings of suspicious persons or vehicles that may have been in the area between these dates.

“Police would also like to remind landowners and members of the public alike to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour in rural locations.”
